Pack 101 History

About Pack 101
Pack 101 has been serving 1st through 5th grade boys at May Watts Elementary in Naperville since 1988. The Pack currently has about 50 boys, organized into one Tiger Den, two Wolf Dens, one Bear Den, and two Webelos Dens.

The Pack was originally chartered through the Countryside of Naperville Homeowners’ Association. In 2012, the charter was  moved to Community Christian Church.

Our Scouts, families, adult leaders and volunteers work together to:
  • Influence each Scout’s character development and personal growth
  • Develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship
  • Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing a strong mind and body
  • Improve understanding and communication within the family
  • Strengthen skills in getting along with others
  • Foster a sense of personal achievement by developing new interests and skills
  • Provide fun and exciting things to do
  • Show each Scout how to ”do your best”

These are skills that are developed throughout a boys years in Scouts. They work on similar ideas each year, but with a greater depth, as they are mature enough to work on those more complex areas of the skills.
