The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and by extension Venturing, exists to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Crew 221 was formed in 2003, since then, young people of Hardin County have gone on many different adventures. Our crew is part of the Lincoln Heritage Council based in Louisville, KY.

PURPOSE
Crew 221 is dedicated to fostering the growth of young men and women into confident adults by giving them the opportunity to develop good basic skills; to learn about leadership and how to be a good follower; to practice as well as develop organizational skills and teamwork; to become self-reliant; and to feel the pleasure of individual accomplishment through a program of group outdoor activities.

ELIGIBILITY
The Crew is open to all young men and women who are 13 and have completed the 8th grade or who are 14 years old. All youth may remain in the Crew until they turn 21.
