Founded in 2012, Boy Scout Troop 101 is sponsored as a chartered organization of St. Edward Parish in Newark, California.
Troop 101's adult leadership include extremely accomplished Eagle Scouts, including the scoutmaster and chartered organization representative. Collectively we hold a vast historical knowledge of Scouting's presence in the Newark/Fremont/Union City area, with recent service at Boy Scout Troop 186 and Cub Scout Pack 269. They are just too many to count...the inspiring young scouts who have gone on and accomplished great things in life...thanks in part to Scouting.
Troop 101 is open for all boys from our Parish and neighboring community who are 11 years old, or have completed the fifth grade, or are at least 10 years old with the Cub Scout Arrow of Light award.
