Boy Scout Troop 707 was chartered May 26, 1988 and is sponsored by the Northshore Rotary Club.  We are in the Raven District of the Sam Houston Area Council (SHAC) of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).  Troop 707 is a boy run troop.  That means the boys plan the activities.  We camp out at least six times a year with a goal of once per month when possible.  Other activities and special events are usually planned on the months when we are not camping.  Each summer and winter we attend a long term camp (7days).  We have been to many places including El Rancho Cima in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, Camp Geiger in Missouri, and we had a Crew that went on a seven day backpacking trek at Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron,  NM. We enjoy the "outing" in scouting.
