Welcome! To Pack 430! We are a year round pack located in the beautiful city of North Las Vegas, NV. Our monthly pack meetings are held at Lee Antonello Elementary School during the school year. However, the summer months you have to put your hiking boots on to find us!

 

Let’s give you an idea of who we are:

 

Our pack is made up of

 Tiger Dens (boy in the first grade or 6 years old)

 Wolf Dens (boys in the second grade or 7 years old)

 Bear Dens (boys in the third grade or 8 years old)

 1st year Weblos (boys in the 4th grade or 9 years old)

 2nd year Weblos (boys in the 5th grade or 10 years old)

 

We are a community pack which means anyone is welcome!

 

As I said our pack is always on the go. We can be found making a splash in the pool or trekking up to the mountains for some marshmallow roasting and stories around the campfire. Not to mention all the fun family games and great fishing. We rounded out last summer with a boat derby at Aliante Park where the boys raced boats they built themselves.

 

That’s only the beginning. September starts a new school year, new boys join the pack and a whole bunch of new activities begin.  Each activity expands the experiences of the scout and allows him to try something new.

 

Fall starts off with another family campout at the Davis Dam. What a great place for ghost stories. Then in November we take part in the Valley wide campaign Scouting for Food. Then in December it caroling and Toys for Tots. Our boys sure know what community is all about.

 

Once the new year begins we start all over with Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold Banquets, Scout Expo just to name a few.

 

We meet the 3rd Friday of every month (unless we are camping of course).
