Halloween Party

Upcoming......

                HALLOWEEN PARTY

I would like to have every girl bring a snack that they will be able to share with every one at our party. There will be a list at our next meeting for you to put down what you will be bringing. Please remember not to bring anything with peanuts.

Roller Skating - Tuesday, October 22, 2013

               ROLLER SKATING

I would like to get a count on how many girls would be going and how many mothers will be staying. The reason I would like to know is I think it would be a great idea to bring munchies for everyone to snack on. Yes the roller rink does have snacks but if there are mothers that aren't staying/on a budget it would be more convienient if there was munchies for the girls. Please let me know if anyone would like to participate let me know.

Thank you!!!!!!

1st Meeting

                                    October 2, 2013 - 1st Meeting

This is what happened at our first meeting:

Pre-meeting: The girls tried to color the first three pages in their folder: My Girl Scout Promise and Law Book Coloring Book page, I love Girl Scout page and the Girl Scout Promise page.

I had a small meeting with the parents to remind them about:
        - QSP Nut and magazine sale: please try to sell at least one item so all the girls will be able to receive a patch.  November 3rd will be the last day I can accept any money or orders.  October 30th will be our last meeting before November 3rd.  So you can either bring everything sold to the meeting or drop it off at my house by Sunday, November 3rd.
        - Girl Scout Cookies: will be in 2014.
        - Uniforms: Girls can wear their pink shirt that I have provided for them or their vest, whatever they prefer.
        - Dues: $39.00 for the year.
        - Parents if you would like to stay for the meeting, please make sure you are registered with a membership id. Please make sure girls are on time for meeting at 6:30 pm and pick up is at 8:00 pm.
        - Girls should be responsible to bring their folder and name tag each week.

Activity: Girls glued two foam flowers together and then put their letters on the flower.  They put yarn through the holes to make a name tag.

Game: Daisy to daisy game.

Daisy Circle: The girls learned the quiet sign and how to react to it when they see it.  They all caught on pretty fast to it.

Activity: Story of Juliette - action story.  Gave the girls two Juliette Low handouts to take home and read.

Closing circle: The girls learned what we do in the closing circle.
