Here you will find information for Girl Scouts of Livingston County. This website is being created to assist leaders, scouts, and their parents keep up to date on all the happenings.

Threshermen's Parade



This year the Threshermen's Parade is on Sunday, September 6, 2015

The theme for this year is "Music Makes the Community Go Round".

Line up starts at noon, our meeting spot is on the corner of S. Locust St. & Henry St. our number in line is 76Y.
You will NOT be able to drive to our spot in line, you must walk. They suggest dropping people off on the southwest corner of Lincoln School.
The parade ends at Main St & Wabash Ave. this would be a great place for parents too meet us for pickup.

PLEASE have your girls in there Girl Scout uniform or a Girl Scout t-shirt. We want to SCREAM Girl Scouts as we are walking.

Summer's Over Soon




Pontiac First United Methodist Church will be hosting the second annual town-wide free family event on September 13th 2015 entitled "Summer's Over Soon" aka SOS Fest; this event is for everyone and will be from 1-5pm on the Courthouse Square. There will be a free meal for every attendee, inflatables, kid's games, face painting, hair cuts, school supplies.. live music, door prize giveaway and so much more. It's an afternoon full of FREE family fun, food and fellowship for all to come and enjoy.

Would you or your girls like to help at this event? There are several ways to get involved:
Volunteer to serve food
Man the check-in table
Supervise an inflatable
Assist with setup
Assist with clean up
Many other jobs that are not listed

All volunteer shifts are 60-90 minute shifts to allow them time to enjoy the festival with their own family as well.

Dwight Harvest Days




This Year we will be hosting a booth and walking in the parade at the Dwight Harvest Days.
September 19 & 20 are the dates of the booth and September 21st is the date of the parade

Its my hope we can get all the troops in Dwight to walk in this years parade.
