Welcome to the Troop 24 Website

Welcome!

The purpose of scouting is to promote desirable qualities of character, to teach and promote citizenship, and to develop personal fitness. It is the intent of Troop 24 to teach leadership, self-reliance, respect, outdoor skills, and to provide a chance to socialize with peers in a safe, non-threatening environment.  We are a boy led, adult guided troop.

Our troop is chartered by the First Presbyterian Church in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. We meet throughout the year on Monday nights from 6:30-8pm except for on national holidays and days there is no school.

Membership Requirements

A boy must be at least 10 ½ years old and have completed the 5th grade OR be at least 11 years old and have received the Arrow of Light Award in Cub Scouts.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us by clicking on the "Contact Our Troop" tab at the top of the page.
