Welcome to Girl Scout Troop 151001. Our Troop is part of the Brazos Valley Community in the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC). We meet at the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:00 to 7:30pm. We do not meet during the summer months of July -September, but we do schedule fun events throughout the summer so the girls can still get together.
In addition to our regular troop meetings, our Troop has monthly outings that in the past have included a sleepover at The Skeeterz ball park, a visit to Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP), a trip to The Museum of Natural Science, Splashway Waterpark, and the local Fire Department. We also have LOTS of exciting things planned for the 2014-15 year such as visiting The George Observatory, camping overnight on the Elissa sailboat as well as earning our boating and swim level certifications. We also participate in Girl Scout Cookie Sales which includes several cookie booths at various places throughout our area. Favorite activities of our troop are arts and crafts of all sorts and participating in service opportunities and many other activities.
