For more than a century Scouting has been a place for young boys to become young men. It's a challenge, and a chance to learn, and an antidote for video games and endless text chats. We welcome anyone who is interested in learning about scouting, or in becoming a scout, to join us in some "time well spent."
In addition to our usual activities, during the first quarter of 2016 the troop will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Mischa Mokwa trail by working on the hiking merit badge. That means a winter and spring of 5-10 mile hikes in preparation for the 21-day Mischa Mokwa trip before that anniversary ends on June 6th.
And, there are plans for a trip to Portal 31 in Benham, KY, a Merit Badge Fair in March, an Earth Day project in April....
