Cub Pack 614, located in Upland, CA, is part of the California Inland Empire Council of the Boys Scouts of America. We are an active and award winning Pack with more than 40 scouts.
Cub Scouting is a family program with 10 purposes related to the overall mission of the Boy Scouts of America:
Character Development |
Respectful Relationships |
Spiritual Growth |
Personal Achievement |
Good Citizenship |
Friendly Service |
Sportsmanship and Fitness |
Fun and Adventure |

Preparation for Boy Scouts |
Our Chartered Organization is the Upland Host Lions. Our Pack Meetings are held in the Peppertree Elementary Cafeteria on the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:30 pm.
Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades. Many of the boys from our pack attend Peppertree Elementary or nearby schools.
A Cub Scout Pack is comprised of smaller groups called Dens. Dens typically meet two evenings a month. Pack 614 has Dens at every level of Cub Scouting:
Tigers (First Grade)
Wolves (Second Grade)
Bears (Third Grade)
Webelos I (Fourth Grade)
Webelos II (Fifth Grade)
Our Scouts participate in a variety of activities such as the Pinewood Derby, camping, Scouting for Food, Blue & Gold Banquet, service projects, environmental improvement projects, and social activities.
Scouting provides youth with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce character education. These opportunities not only help them as boys, but carry forward as they become men, improving their relationships, their work lives, their family lives, and the values by which they live. More than 80 percent of men who were Scouts agree that the values they learned in Scouting continue to be very important to them today.
