Tour Permit & Guide to Safe Scouting

All leaders involved in field trips must have read and be familiar with the Guide to Safe Scouting - http://www.scouting.org/scoutsource/HealthandSafety/Resources/Guidetosafescouting.aspx.   Parents are encouraged to read the document as well.

Tour permits must be submitted to and approved by the Council office 2 weeks before the trip.  You can always submit it much earlier as long as you provide any updates no later than 2 days before the trip takes place.  Tour permits are required for trips out of the county in which the Pack meets, but is always a good idea to have on any trip, especially when car pooling is necessary.  Go to: http://www.scouting.org/sitecore/content/Home/HealthandSafety/TourPlanFAQ.aspx
