Welcome to Troop 43. We are chartered through the Park Terrace Community United Methodist Church in Apalachin, NY. Currently we have 17 Scouts in our Troop. It is our goal to offer our Scouts an exciting program that gives them the opportunity to achieve all they want from their Scouting career while learning the core values of Scouting. We understand that Scouting is just a part of their lives and it should not be a choice of "playing football" or Scouting. Rather, we work with them so they can participate in other activities while also being a Scout. It is with pride that Troop 43 has consistently produced Eagle Scouts from its program. While we will never force a Scout to advance in rank, our Scouts continually work with each other and help each other advance which has produced an extremely high percentage of our Scouts earning the rank of Eagle. As a Troop we offer monthly camp-outs, backpacking trips, summer camp, fundraising opportunities, and community service projects.
