The
pack is made up of dens, each den consists of a group of boys and is
based on age, so that each den is working on age appropriate activities.
Each den has a Den Leader (Akela) that helps the boys grow on the path
to earning the Arrow of Light.
The
youngest of the scouts, the "Tiger Cubs", are our 7 year old boys, or
those in first grade. They complete activities with a parent or guardian
and will have a "Go See It" activity once a month.
At age 8, or our second graders, the boys can join the "Wolf Den".
At age 9, or our third graders, the boys can join the "Bear Den".
At
10 years old, or our forth and fifth graders, the boys enter the ranks
of the "Webelos", where they will focus in earnest to earn the Arrow of
Light, which prepares them to transfer into a Boy Scout Troop.
