Troop Meetings
Troop meetings are held in the cafeteria of the Church of St.Peter on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month (holidays excluded). The troop meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and end by 7:30 p.m.
Monthly Outdoor Events
The troop plans one major outdoor (or related activity) each month.
Annual Long Term Camp
The troop participates in a week of camping at the White Pines camp of Tomahawk Scout Reservation. This event is held the first full week of August. This is an excellent opportunity for first year Scouts to gain experience with extended camping. Additionally, Tomahawk offers lots of opportunities to work on merit badges, participate in adventure activities, and to simply have a great time camping!
Annual High Adventure Event
The troop plans one long-term High Adventure camping event every few years. High Adventure planning is dependent on the availability of travel permits, adult leaders and number of motivated Scouts.
In August of 2005 a group traveled to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
In 2008 a group of boys went sea-kayaking through the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior.
In 2010, a High Adventure trip is planned once again for the Philmont Scout Ranch, New Mexico.
