New Cub Scout Camp Family Fun Day



Cub Scout Fall Fun Day

Camp Carlquist, Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM

New to Cub Scouts? Want to see what it's about?  Cub Scout Summer Camp is one of the many highlights of the Cub Scout Program! Come out to Camp Carlquist on Saturday, September 26, 2015 and get a sample of Cub Scout Summer Camp; Archery, BB Guns, and much more.

Camp Carlquist, located at 23001 Camp Gorsuch Rd, Chugiak, AK 99567, is half way between Wasilla and Anchorage, just off the Glenn Highway. Take the Mirror Lake Exit and follow the signs into camp.

There will be two sessions for families to attend at Camp. The morning session will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at Noon. The second session will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will go to 4:30 p.m. Lunch will not be served at camp. Coats, hats and gloves are recommended for both sessions. Hot Chocolate, Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided.

Cost to Attend Cub Scout Fall Fun Day is $10 per family with one Cub Scout. $18 for a family with two Cub Scouts and $25 for a family with three Cub Scouts.

Registration prior to the event is required. Registration for the event is online at the Great Alaska Council Website, https://scoutingevent.com/?OrgKey=BSA610&eventID=2358. Registration will close on September 24th or when the event is full. Drivers will be asked to show a copy of their online registration before pulling into camp. Unfortunately due to the limited space at camp refunds will not be granted.

Parking at camp is limited. Carpooling is strongly encouraged. Questions can be answered by calling or visiting the Anchorage Scout Office: 3117 Patterson St, Anchorage, AK 99504. The Scout Office is open Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (907) 337-9547.
