Eagle Projects

Troop 64 is very proud to have had 95 Scouts earn their Eagle Rank over the years. The final component of a Scout's elevation to the Eagle Rank is to complete an Eagle Project which has a positive impact on the community in some way.

Some recent Eagle Projects from Troop 64:
  • Teaching technology skills to residents of Crestwood Place
  • Refurbishing the Northbrook Nurses Club's lending closet at the Civic Foundation
  • Building sections of fencing at a local forest preserve
  • Developed 50 tool kits and 50 First Aid kits for Northbrook C.E.R.T. (Citizen Emergency Response Team).
  • Cleaning up areas surrounding a local church
  • Canvased and evaluated the visibility of residential addresses to the street for emergency responders.

Troop 64's Legacy
Troop 64's Scouts and leaders are involved in several activities that help the Northbrook community

  • Scouting for Food:Scouts help collect food to replenish the Northfield Food Pantry
  • Northbrook Days:  Our Scouts and families help the Civic Foundation raise money that helps support the community
  • NUMC Rummage Sale: This raises funds for our Sponsoring organization and helps redistribute
  • Popcorn Sales: While raising funds for the Troop, it also provides popcorn for our Service men and women overseas.
