Merit Badge Counseling

We are always interested in recruiting merit badge counselors with expertise or interest—whether it is a special craft or hobby (basketry, leatherwork, coin collecting), a profession (veterinary medicine, aviation, engineering), or perhaps a life skill (cooking, personal management, communications).

Do you know someone who may be interested in offering their time, knowledge, and other resources to help our Scouts explore a topic they have an interest in? Maybe offer a clinic once a year? Are you interested in becoming a Counselor yourself?

Here is a link to information about all merit badges: http://www.scouting.org/scoutsource/BoyScouts/AdvancementandAwards/MeritBadges.aspx

Attached are the 2 applications that Merit Badge Counselors need to fill out, a flyer about Merit Badge Counseling and the link to the online Youth Protection Training that needs to be taken. Let's start recruiting!
