Camp Emerald Bay Catalina Island

Troop  214 sponsored Scouts who raised enough money in popcorn sales to go to Camp Emerald Bay on Catalina Island, CA. We took an hour ferry ride to get to the island. When we landed, amazing staff greeted us with cheers and excitement. Fun activities included snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking.

Troop 214 sets a national Boy Scout Scout record selling $90,235 worth of popcorn in 2008! 

The money from this effort will be used to purchase a new canoe and to help fund our 2009 trip to Hawaii in June.  Thank you to everyone in the Troop who made this happen.  Special thanks to our Popcorn Kernals - Kjel Nordgaard and Mike Eder.
