1.    April activity plan

·Hike@ Riverside Park on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 6:00 p.m.

·Scoutswill hike and do a few leave no trace activities

2.    May Camp Out- May 31

·Willbe held at the scout hut. Check-in will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.

·Openingceremony will be at 2:00 p.m.- please be at camp and set up by this time.

·Therewill be activities for the entire family.

·Registrationdeadline will be May 15^th- fees to buy food, patches and supplieswill be determined at the April hike.

·Willalso hold a quick leader meeting during this event.

3.    June and July Ideas

·June-Yard sale- parents will host this on June 7 and start at 5:00 a.m. Locationstill to be determined at the April hike once information is gathered

·Scoutsfor June- Sarah will look into getting tickets for the Traveler’s game on June22^nd at 2:00 p.m. Information will be sent out at a later time oncewe get all the details worked out.

·July-swimming day at Saint Paul’s pending permission and life guard availability.

4.    August Kickoff

·         Tentatively planned for Saturday, August 23^rd

·Wantto have a bounce house (possible donation by In Any Event) and hot dogs atBerryhill Park

·Leaderswill help provide activities for potential and existing scouts

5.    Parental support

·Willbe required a little more this coming year- more encouragement for parental participation

6.    Grandparent/support committee

·Parentswho have an adult (18 years or older) who helps with their children on aregular basis will be asked if that person would like to become a committeemember to assist with scout activities and help make pack plans

7.    TRAINING-A MUST!

·YouthProtection

·Myscouting.org-leader specific training available

·Besure to attach your scouting number (found on your card) to your account or itwon’t be associated with your pack.

·Committeewill be checking in on progress, interaction, etc.

8.    Open Floor

·Shawnand Paige Gustin offered to assist the pack with the purchase of candy bars tobe sold as a pack fundraiser.  They willfront the money and the pack will pay them back once the candy bars are sold.

·Detailswill be given to scouts as soon as the information is obtained.
