Join us for a pack hike and picnic next weekend, Saturday, August 2!

Where: Meet at Montalvo Arts Center, Parking Lot 3

What to wear: Scouts are encouraged to wear their uniforms (we are working on pack t-shirts for future casual outings such as hikes--more info to come)

Details:

Montalvo Arts Center hosts art exhibits and performances and is located off Hwy. 9 between Los Gatos and Saratoga. The grounds and surrounding trails are open to the public and are managed by Santa Clara County Parks. We will start with a morning hike approximately 2 miles in length, then picnic on the Great Lawn in front of the villa.
Picnic: pack your own picnic lunch and drinks. There is plenty of shade available, but limited picnic seating so bring chairs and/or a picnic blanket.
During the picnic, Mullissa Willette will give a brief update on the Summer Award and upcoming Popcorn Fundraiser.
Dogs are allowed on the upper trails only, not in the gardens or lawn area (where we will have our picnic).
This is a family outing--at least one parent should join and siblings are welcome!
Parking is free. There are four parking lots--we are meeting at parking lot 3, which is located beyond the Villa and is closest to the trail head. Visit the link below for a map and directions.
