The dens shall be completing achievement 20 Sawdust and Nails on Tuesday October 28th at 6pm at Cicero United Methodist church. Den 1 shall meet in kitty corner room as before with den #2 in room to right of it.   First we shall discuss tools and tool safety, then the scouts will build tool boxes.  See page 154 bear handbook.  The scouts will need to bring some supplies.  They will need to bring 1 inch by 6 inch by 6 foot pine board (precut as shown in book if possible) along with a 18 inch 1 and 3/4inch dowel .  Also bring wood screws, screw driver, drill bits and electric drill for drilling if have it and maybe wood glue to glue dowel. Also safety glasses and maybe some sand paper.   I shall have jigsaw for cutting wood and electric drill and drill bits for dowel as well as predrilling for screws.  If we have time we shall try to cover Achievement 1 Ways We Worship.  For the new scouts who have not yet achieved their bobcat badge please review Bobcat Trail in Bear book so we can test them at 7pm so they can earn their Bobcat badge for next pack meeting
