 About The Pack

Summer Camp

Pack 212 serves the boys and girls in the Oregon communities of Damascus and Boring. Our mission is to instill strong character values in our youth, while giving them a chance to have fun and learn about our world. Most recently, we participated in Scouting For Food and in flag planting ceremonies at Willamette National Cemetery. This summer we'll be attending summer camps at Butte Creek Ranch, and Camp Baldwin.

The Pack is made up of kindergarten through fifth grade youth. They meet in small groups (dens) of 2 to 12 youth from the same grade. Kindergarteners are Lions, First graders are Tiger Cubs, second graders are Wolf Cubs, third graders are Bear Cubs, fourth are Webelos, and fifth grade is Arrow of Light (AOL) . In the second half of the fifth grade school year the AOL scouts move up to a Scouts BSA Troop.

Scouting is a family affair, and this theme is stressed in our Pack. Parental participation is crucial. The Pack is what we, the parents, make it. Come grow with us and help us make a difference in our community!
