The cost of Scouting is shared by five groups:

• The boy and his family
• The Cub Scout pack
• The pack's chartering organization
• The Local Council
• National Boy Scouts of America

The Local Council is supported by four functions:

• The United Way Donations
• Friends of Scouting donations
• Popcorn /Product Selling Programs
• Individual Donations

The Pack is supported by two functions

• Membership Dues
• Annual Fundraising: Popcorn, Pork Burger Sale at the Triangle
