What is a Scoutlander?
ScoutLander.com is an advanced troop management system.
Scoutlander features allow our service unit to:
- Manage events through shared calendar
- Simplify communication with broadcast emails
- Create memories through photo albums
- Capture and retain lessons learned with searchable knowledge base
Who can join this Group?
Leaders and Co-Leaders of Girl Scout Troops of Service Units 10, 12 and 13, as well as any affiliated Adult Volunteers and parents.
*This Group is not for girls, but please be sure to share appropriate email messages with your troop. If you wish to set up a site for your troop, please feel free to do so.
Why should I join?
There are many items of interest for any leader in the Service Unit, such as:
- Connect with other leaders throughout Hudson Co. in a private setting
- Announcements of SU events as well as an opportunity to network with troops throughout the Hudson County Service Units
- Ability to get advice from seasoned leaders in the group
How else can I use Scoutlander?
- Cookie/Badge Exchange- Post any extra patches, badges or cookie boxes (during cookie season) that your troop doesn’t need and you may be able to swap for a badge that your troop can use
- Uniform Exchange- Leaders who may have girls with need s for essential Girl Scouting materials can connect with troops or leaders who are willing to donate needed sashes or handbooks
