Each fall the troop gets together to plan the activities of the coming year. The activities reflect the interests of the boys. The committee is there to determine if the plans are feasible. We do plan a winter weekend each February where the boys can go skiing or snowboarding. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing are also options for the weekend. We also participate in Denver Area Council sponsored activities like Scout Show and Camporee. We also participate in the Valley District Klondike.
The boys are responsible for planning each campout or outdoor activity. One or two scouts are given the responsibility of each campout. This gives the scouts a greater ownership to the activities and another opportunity to practice leadership and organizational skills
