Dan Beard Council Sponsored Events

The Dan Beard Council is the administrative body of the the Boy Scouts of America in the Greater Cincinnati area. With a geographic area of 12 counties in Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky and an average annual membership of 33,000 youth, the Dan Beard Council is one of the larger metropolitan councils in the country and the largest youth organization in the Cincinnati area. The council administers the Scouting program through 8 districts, providing volunteer support, training, program opportunities, and administrative services such as membership and advancement records, new unit development, and unit fundraising opportunities in the form of the annual popcorn sale.

The Dan Beard Council sponsors numerous programs throughout the year - some are activities that we participate in as a Pack; others are events that you can enjoy with your scout and as a family.

SUMMER CAMP

The Dan Beard Council organizes a series of camp opportunities during

the summer for Cub Scouts.

  • Adventure Camp takes place at the CubWorld facilities located at 6035 Price Rd, Loveland, OH 45140.
  • There are several lengths and formats available to our families. However, we usually go as a pack to one 3day/2night camp. The cost is $115 per scout.
  • Families are welcome to attend on their own anytime during the summer and can register on their own online. But, if several scouts are attending together, two or more (from different families) we must register as a pack and provide pack leaders (at least 2 and 1 per each 5 children).
  • Dan Beard's Camp website is http://new.danbeard.org/CubCamp/where there is a lot of information.

The Pack 919 camp date will be determined in Spring 2016

For information or questions please contact liliguyler@yahoo.com

Registration process starts in March/April.

The deadline for registration is usually by May 1st.
