Blue & Gold Banquet



The purpose of the blue and gold banquet is to celebrate the pack's anniversary, thank pack leaders and other adults who have helped the pack, and inspire the leaders, Scouts, and parents. Packs often like to invite former members and other Scouting or community leaders to take part in their blue and gold banquet.

                                                                   Class A uniforms are required


Pinewood Derby

Saturday March 9th 10am - 12pm at Bethel Baptist Church in Prospect, NY


Scouts must be there by 9:30 to weigh in their car and the race will start at 10am

Camping Events



                            
2018 "Pirate Mom & Me”
camping event at Camp Kingsley will be held Friday May 11th thru Saturday May 12th. For more information and to register:  https://www.leatherstockingcouncil.org/FamilyCamp



2018 Cub Scout Resident Camp
held at Camp Kingsley. Three different weekends to pick from: 7/11 – 7/15, 7/18 – 7/22 or 7/25 – 7/29.

2018 Cub Scout Day Camp
will have 5 sessions available throughout the summer. Held at various locations. For more information and to register: https://www.leatherstockingcouncil.org/CubDayCamp


2018 Fall Family Camp
event at Camp Kingsley will be held in October. Cost is TBD per person includes event patch, Saturday lunch & dinner and Sunday breakfast. More information to come.

Popcorn Fundraiser



 
2017 Popcorn Sales

We had a good year in selling popcorn between the show-n-sell events and personal sales. For the show-n-sell events, we started out with $1,860 worth of popcorn, sold $1,470 in popcorn, and collected $393.44 in donations. 
 

Popcorn orders come November 17th. Natalie will communicate a time and place to pick up your popcorn. Please be sure to collect the money from your buyers as you give them the popcorn.

All popcorn money is due to Natalie by December 4th.

 


We greatly appreciate everyone’s help and support with selling popcorn. The money raised during this event will help provide funds for the various scout activities we plan throughout the year.

Scouting For Food



Saturday November 4, 2017  we kicked out our Scouting for Food event. All the scouts delivered collection bags to houses in the area to support the Foothills Food Pantry.

On Saturday November 11th the scouts will revisit the houses to collect the bags of food and deliver them to the Twin Churches in the village of Holland Patent. Please have all food collections delivered to the church no later than 12pm as there will be people there to help sort and stock the food in the pantry.
