DAY CAMP, June 25 - June 27, 2015
Day Camp is going on tour this year bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, Music, Shooting Sports and so much FUN to your scouts! Day camp is a three day adventure for Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts. Each day campers will participate in music themed activities as they move from station to station. Webelos and Arrow of Light scouts will have opportunities to complete requirements for Earth Rocks and Maestro adventures.

Cub Scout Day Camp will be held at Multilakes park in Commerce Township on Thursday June 25, Friday June 26th, and Saturday June 27th, 2015. The camp is ran by parent volunteers. If you are registering your child for Cub Scout Day camp please plan to volunteer on at least one of the days to help the children with camp activities.
This year’s day camp registration is online and is a two-step process.
The price for Cub Scout Day Camp is $60 if you complete your registration before May 25th. It is $75 if you register late. I recommend completing step 1 at least a couple of days before the deadline to make sure you have enough time to complete step #2 and submit your payment.

PLANE WASH, May 30 1pm - 4pm
Our May 9th A-10 Plane Wash has to be rescheduled. The new date and time is Saturday May 30th, 1pm-4pm.
We will be sharing our job with Milford Boy Scout troop 272. We will get to see some of the Webelos II we said good bye to at the Blue & Gold!!
As many of you know we adopted Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II jet at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. We will visit and wash our A-10. After we are done with the job there is an opportunity to go around and look at some aircrafts and visit the museum. Everything we need to wash our plane is provided on site.
We will be getting together at 1pm at Wixom Elementary and driving over to Selfridge ANGB together. The event is scheduled from 2pm until 4pm.
Selfridge ANGB has strict security measures we must comply with!! They will conduct background checks, in advance, which should streamline entry into the base. The deadline for signing up is Friday May 22nd.
