Holiday Parades-2015 Carlisle & Jonesville
It’s time now to start planning for this! If you or someone you know can assist in one or both parades we will need a truck/trailer to make our float. We will also need help planning/designing /decorating our float. If you have an interest in assisting with this that would be awesome!
2015-
JONESVILLE TOWN PARADE- DEC 5th
Carlisle Parade-
Troop 391 Will Be participating in the Carlisle, & Jonesville Parade
We are asking to have a very strong presence at all three parades we will be
passing out books that we collect between now and parade time to the small children. (under 5)
It takes quite a bit of help to do this parents and scouts please plan to be at these parades.
With a special commitment from troop 391 to the mayor of Carlisle I am asking that if you can only one or two parades please
do your best to attend at the minimum the Carlisle parade.
2014
Parades.
11 scouts participated in our parade activity this year.
They met early before the parade got started to work on creating signs for the parade.
Wishing everyone happy holidays and encouraging reading and book sharing.
The Juniors and Up were able to volunteer to help distribute the books that were collected
in the months prior. Passing out candy, bookmarks, books the girls practiced "GIVING"
