Pack Events

The pack and dens meet Monday nights from 6-7pm at Martinez United Methodist Church.

Scouts usually meet 2-3 times as dens and once as a pack each month during the school year.  During the summer, the pack usually participates in a variety of activities, including camping, tour, trip, and other activities.

Special Events

In addition to regularly scheduled den and pack meetings, our Pack participates in a number of special events each year, such as:

Spook-O-Ree
- A great Cub Scouting experience, as Scouts have fun in a variety of activities such as a BB range, pumpkin painting, Haunted Carnival, and much more.  Held annually at the end of October by the Georgia-Carolina Council, this event includes camping.

Scout Nights - Attend a Greenjackets game, the circus, the Riverhawks, or see the Harlem Globetrotters trick their way to victory during one of the many Scout Nights sponsored by the Georgia-Carolina Council.

Christmas Parade - Merry Christmas!  Ride down the center of town as part of Martinez' annual Christmas parade!

Blue and Gold Banquet - Celebrate the anniversary of Scouting and the achievements of all scouts in the pack throughout the year.

Pinewood Derby - Build, decorate and race your own car against the other boys in the Pack!

Cub Fun Day - A Council-run, one-day program held at the Knox Scout Reservation that provides the Scouts with challenging and fun activities all day long!  The program focuses on developing skills and reinforcing Scout values while completing some of outdoor achievements.  Camping is optional.

Crossover - Celebrate the end of the pack's year and honor our Scout's achievements in this formal ceremony wherein all Scouts receive their final awards before being "promoted" into the next den.

Summer Day Camp - Held at the Knox Scout Reservation during the summer months, this week-long day camp provides an opportunity for the Cubs to play, learn, and begin working on their next year's achievements while enjoying the wonderful outdoors.

Other Events - Other events the pack may plan are camping trips, Battle of Aiken trip, hikes, field trips, a Raingutter Regatta, laser tag, and more.  Planning for events like these will take place as warranted.
