Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades (completed previous grade) or be 7 to 10 years of age.  Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join Cub Scouting but may be eligible to join the Boy Scouting or Venturing program.

Express your interest to the pack leaders—the Cubmaster, chartered organization representative, or other unit leaders. While there's no guarantee that a specific role or position will be available—and there may be a selection process among several candidates even if the position is currently vacant—there is usually some way in which you can contribute, and our unit will be glad for any offer of help.

Adults applying must interview with the senior leadership and complete a sponsor-assisted program before the committee can approve the application.  Fees to register are paid by the pack.  Adult applicants must agree to a background check as part of their application process.  Acceptance as a member is at the discretion of the Boy Scouts of America, Martinez United Methodist Church, and Pack 119.  For detailed information or to join Pack 119 as an adult volunteer, please use the "Contact Our Pack" button at the top of this page.
