Trips and Overnights was the requirement before taking the Cabins, Lodges, and S'Mores class which is needed at least 30 days before the Camporee. Leaders who did not take Trips and Overnights need to take the Basics class before taking Cabins, Lodges, and S'Mores.
An adult going with the troop to the Camporee must have the Cabins, Lodges, and S'Mores class if the troop is staying in a cabin. If the troop is staying in the tent, an adult going with the troop must have the Platform Tent and Outdoor Cooking class after they take the Cabins, Lodges, and S'Mores class.
An adult going with the troop to the Camporee must have a current first aid/CPR certification. The first aid/CPR trainings the Girl Scouts are giving now are good for 2 years.
