What is Cub Scouting?

Cub Scouting is a year-round program designed to meet the needs of young boys and their parents. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness.  Scouts will participate in 12 key core values. These core values will promote character development. Through these 12 core values Scouts will develop positive attitude, honesty, bravery and respect to him and others. With the help of parents and leaders (Akela) the Scouts learn citizenship, compassion, and courage while having fun in service projects, ceremonies, games, and other activities. Family involvement is an essential part of Cub Scouting and parents are encouraged to play an active role in the Scouting program. One of the greatest gift to a child is parent's time.
